Kelsey Dennis, FNP-C

My nursing career first started after graduating from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing Degree in 2017. I then moved to Washington, DC, where I completed a nurse residency program at Medstar Georgetown University on their Surgical Intensive Care Unit. From there, I have worked in specialties including Trauma Intensive Care, Peri-operative, and Post-operative Care. I am from Beaufort, SC, and always envisioned moving back home to provide services for my community. After practicing as a registered nurse for six years, I wanted to further my education and training, and ultimately transition into the role of a provider. Once I obtained my Master’s Degree at the University of South Carolina, I joined the team of providers at Island Family Medicine as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am thoroughly excited to connect with patients and provide care that focuses on the patient as a whole. With combined training in aesthetic injections, I want to help patients feel well both on the inside, and out.
